Our loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, Cindy Jo Brunell, 53, passed away Sunday June 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 4, 1963 in Ogden, UT to Norman and Charlene Dodgen. She attended and graduated from Ogden City School District.

On July 20, 1984, she married her sweetheart and best friend Scott Brunell. They were married for 32 years. Together they had 3 beautiful children whom she loved more than anything. They were her pride and joy.

In 1987, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and has struggled with it for the past 30 years. Despite the pain and immobility, she stayed strong and pushed through and raised a beautiful loving family.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker, wife, and mother. In her younger years, she worked at Riverside Golf Course, Breadline Pizza Company and Wendy's. She enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, camping, shooting guns, and anything outdoors. She loved going out and listening to her husband band play and their trips to Wendover. She has two beautiful granddaughters who she loved to brag about that brought her so much joy. Above everything, there is nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family. She had a wild, free spirit and brought joy to everyone she knew and will be missed by many! She was Born to be Wild!

She is survived by her husband, Scott Brunell, Daughter, Stephanie (Kendall) Hatch, Sons, Bryan and Ryan Brunell, Granddaughters, Madison and Khloe Brunell, mother, Charlene Dodgen, brother, Richard (Ranae) Dodgen, her beloved cat, Ducky, and many other special friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Dodgen and Mother-in-law, Darla Rodier.

The family wishes to thank IHC Home Care for their many years of service and a special thank you to her brother-in-law Frank Brunell for the loving care he has provided over the last few months.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary.
