Clarence Lee Bassett

BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother Clarence Bassett, 75, died August 4, 2006 of lung cancer. He was born on January 7, 1931 in Afton, WY, a son of Ammon Francillo and Lucille Tippets Bassett. He married LaWanna Marston. They were later divorced. He married Linda Peterson on June 29, 1984 in Brigham City.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He loved gardening and hunting and fishing.

His family and grandchildren were the love of his life.

Surviving are his wife, Linda of Brigham, children Denise (John) Wilson, CA, Lynn Bassett of Layton, Keith Bassett, CA, Ann (Mark) Malicki, CA, Amber (Eric) Sleight, Brigham, Angie (Graham) Mitchell CA, Kurt Anderson of Salt Lake City. Twelve Granchildren and six Great -Grandchildren

Also survived by brothers and sisters, Dean (Gerry) Bassett of Ogden, Theda Bassett, Salt Lake City, Nevin Bassett, Clearfield, Nellie Cole, ID, LaRay Bieler, AZ, Mel (Dee) Bassett WY, Ron (June) Bassett, WY, Mary Jean (Bob) Strawn, Providence, Alan (Bev) Bassett, Brigham, Weldon (Judy) Bassett, ID.

Funeral services will be Monday August 7, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Harper Ward Church 620 N 300 E. Friends may call Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City and at the church Monday 1:00 - 1:40 pm.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery
