Clarence Clark Olsen

Huntsville - Clarence Clark Olsen, 83, passed away on May 22, 2015 at his home. He was born March 29, 1932 in Ogden, Utah the son of Elizabeth Ruth Bullock and Clarence Reese Olsen. Clark graduated from Weber High and was a member of the LDS Church. He married Barbara Jean Cude on May 10, 1958 in Elko, NV.

Clark honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a Charter Member of American Legion Post 129 in Huntsville, where he served as Commander twice and was a lifetime member. He spent many years serving with the Legion Honor Guard doing Memorial Day Services and honoring veterans at funerals. He was also involved in the Legion's sponsorship of students in Boys' and Girls' State and started and coached the boys baseball team sponsored by the Legion.

Clark is survived by his children, Nanci Jean Olsen, Michael (Juliann) Olsen and Wendy Pretti; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Jean; daughters, Cindy Jo and Jennifer Marie; brother, Kenneth and his grandson, Orin.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Huntsville City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends prior at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
