Brother Nicholas (Clarence) Prinster Obituary (1927 - 2018)

Brother Nicholas Prinster Brother Nicholas (Clarence) Prinster, age 91, formerly of the Monastery in Huntsville, peacefully passed away at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. Brother Nicholas was originally from Grand Junction, CO. He spent over 60 years in monastic life. He was a born leader, managing the community income producing industries for many years and ran the Monastery ranching operation with several hundred head of cattle. With increasing age Brother Nicholas directed his talents toward crafting the beautiful clocks and boxes that added to the Monasteries income and reputation. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at St. Joseph Villa Chapel, 451 Bishop Federal Lane, SLC with a viewing prior from 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Huntsville Monastery Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
