Clarice Anderson Slatter

BRIGHAM CITY - Clarice Anderson Slatter passed away peacefully on June 15, 2001, at the Pioneer Care Center.

She was born April 10, 1921, in Bear River City to Willard Hans Anderson and Nellie Christine Oakeson Anderson.

Clarice graduated from Bear River High School. She then married Aubrey Winston Slatter on March 8, 1947, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Clarice worked as an executive secretary for the Draft Board, a job she dearly loved. She was a member of the Brigham City 10th Ward. Clarice loved to play the piano and organ, especially for family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey, one daughter, Deborah and ten brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her two children Tom Slatter, Ogden; Tamara Slatter, Brigham City; two sisters, Arvilla Holmgren, Bear River City, and Glenna Andersen, Brigham City; three grandchildren, Jason and Jonie Slatter, Angie Slatter, and Matt Slatter; and three great-grandchildren.

The family would especially like to thank her very special neighbors, Pioneer Care Center and the Hospice of Utah.

Clarice will be greatly missed for her contagious smile and her overwhelming love for her family. It was never hard to get her to smile even though at times she was in great pain.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 10th Ward, 500 South 200 West.

Friends may call on Monday, June 18, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, and Tuesday, June 19, 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the church.
