Clayton Norwood, Sr Obituary (1962 - 2017)

Clayton Norwood Sr. Clayton Norwood Sr., passed away on April 8, 2017. He was born December 15, 1962 in Ogden the son of Mae Margaret Motley Norwood and Columbus Norwood Sr. He graduated from Ogden High. He was married to Joyetta Robinson; later divorced. He married Valentina Murphy in 1994. Clayton enjoyed fishing at Mantua and the outdoors. He showed off his cooking/grilling skills with family and friends. He loved his music and spending time with the grandkids. He is survived by his wife Valentina; children Claywanda (Rashad) Harper, Clarresha (Corey) Norwood, Clayton Dontrell Norwood, Jr., Aikyrea Norwood and Monique (Antonio) Cottrell Mellon; other son-in-laws; Glover Charles Mathis and Alfred Walton; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Zela Mae Byrd, Johnnie M. Davis, John Norwood, Barbara Allen, Charlean Norwood, Edna Mae Norwood and a nephew John Bush. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a niece and two grandsons. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at McKay Dee Hospital. Cremation under the direction of Myers Ogden Mortuary. A memorial will be held at a later date.
