Connie Hendry

Connie Rae Thomas Christiansen Hendry, born Connie Rae Stuart, on March 11, 1942, in Salt Lake City, UT. passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026. Connie dedicated her time to her family, her career, and her beloved dogs.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, she attended and graduated from West High School. She married her high school sweetheart Ray Thomas and moved to California for a short time; they later divorced. Connie proudly served her community as a secretary for the detectives of the Ogden City Police Department for many years before marrying David Christiansen and becoming an administrative assistant for Utah Power and Light; they too later divorced.

Connie's passion for animals was evident in her role as a loving dog mom. Her thoughtful nature often extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Kevin Thomas (SharRee), and her daughter, Kimberly Palmer (Ed) 5 grandchildren Teresa, Erica, Jake(Bre), Hunter and Kenton 6 great grand children Ryan, Bryken, Alauni, Avyana, Riggins and Miles. One great-great grandson Noah, and sister Teresa D'Auray. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Bartho Stuart, and her mother, Grace Stuart.

A private service will be held for immediate family.
