BRIGHAM CITY - Connie Denise Anderson Holcomb, 61, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
Connie was born on May 2, 1948 in Pocatello, Idaho a daughter of Dwaine W. and Renee Gwendolyn Davis Anderson. She attended Highland High School and Idaho State University both in Pocatello, Idaho.
Connie married Glenn W. Holcomb on September 19, 1969 in Pocatello, Idaho, and they were later sealed in the Oakland, California Temple.
She was a member of the Brigham City 13th Ward and active in the Relief Society, and Ward choir. She served as a Primary teacher, Cub Scout Leader, and Sunday School teacher, For many years she was employed by Centro De La Familia De Utah, a Head Start Program for migrant children.
Connie loved singing, reading, traveling, and spending time with her children, and grandchildren. She also spent many years working and volunteering her efforts for other children.
Surviving are her husband Glenn, children: Jeff (Kari Ann), Olympia, WA; Brian (Michele), Maple Grove, MN; Melissa (Jeroen) Bouwmeester, Wekerom, Netherlands; Spencer, Salt Lake City, UT; Barry, Salt Lake City, UT; and seven grandchildren. Also her parents, and siblings: Renell Kendall, Clifford, Gwen Dudley, Thain, Todd, Noel. She was preceded in death by one brother, Craig.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Brigham City 13th Ward Chapel, 25 North 300 East, Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers make donations to the Primary Children's Medical Center.
