Corrtney Jay Sargent Obituary (1974 - 2011)

Courtney Jay Sargent BRIGHAM CITY--Corrtney Jay Sargent passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 7, 2011 at the the age of 37. He was born June 19, 1974 in Brigham City to Robin Thayne and Georgeanne Richards Sargent. He grew up in Brigham City untill 9th grade and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. He excelled in sports especially football in both schools. He loved to play golf, was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos, and enjoyed spending all his extra time with his family. Corrtney had a big heart and was kind to all and made friends easily. People were drawn to him. He made and kept many friendships, but his children were his pride and joy. Corrtney is survived by his wife, Mindy Petersen Sargent; sons: Chase, Kaden, and Lejend; his daughters: Ilynd, Trezure, and Paridys. Parents: Georgeanne Demille (Jim) and Robin Thayne Sargent (Lisa); 6 brothers, 6 sisters and 2 step brothers. He preceeded in death by his step sister, Tamara Demille Frost, and grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Mt. View Ward, 105 Fishburn, (next to McDonald's). Family and friends may come to a viewing on Wednesday, September 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City, Utah, and Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
