Cree A'Lexis Tillman Obituary (1995 - 2009)

Cree A'lexis Tillman, our loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend passed away on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, surrounded by her mother, father, family and friends. Our beautiful baby girl was born in Salt Lake City, UT on Feb. 19, 1995, the first child of Bishop and Patrice Tillman. Cree was educated at Whittier Elementary and Hunter Jr. High School. Cree was in the 8th grade. She was always an excellent student always striving to improve herself. She maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. She also was a part of the yearbook committee. Cree dedicated her life to Christ at a very early age. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and for awhile she was part of the Youth Usher Board. She inspired me (Mom) to return to church. Although she left this life far too early Cree touched the hearts and souls of so many people. Her smile was contagious; when you seen her beautiful smile and dimples you could not help but to smile back and love her. Cree had a great personality she was loving, comforting and nurturing. From the time she became a big sister she was always loving and took great care of her brother and sister. Cree had a thirst for knowledge; she was always telling us something interesting that she learned from school. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, one of her favorite singers is Chris Brown. She loved to go shopping one thing she always had to buy were earrings. Cree also played basketball for the Jr. Jazz, she played soccer for many years, she was taking piano lessons, she was a green belt in Tae Kwon Do, and had a great passion for Tae Kwon Do. She also just enjoyed being a kid, hanging out with her friends, being silly. She looked forward to camping with her family and friends during the summer. Her cousin Michael (Jr.) was her big brother, her protector and loved her unconditionally. She also enjoyed taking pictures. We will miss you; you will always be in our hearts. Cree is survived by her loving parents Bishop and Patrice Tillman; brother Bishop A. Tillman IV; sister Shea A. Tillman, West Valley City, UT; adopted big sister Gale Wallace, Magna, UT; adopted big sister Gwen Wallace, Alexandria, VA; grandparents Robert (Mary) Jones, Austin, TX; grandmother Rosie Tillman, Ogden, UT; grandfather Bishop (Shirley) Tillman, Austin, TX; Godmother Charlean Wilson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gone but not forgotten.
