Darrell Clive Wells Obituary (1941 - 2014)

Darrell Clive Wells passed away November 30, 2014 after a short illness. He was born to Mary and Clive Wells in Brigham City, Utah. He grew up in Willard Utah and attended Box Elder High School graduating in 1959. He married Gayle Ann Cutler they had a son Tony and were later divorced. He married Saundra Roche the love of his life on December 20, 1963. They later solemnized their marriage in the Mesa Arizona Temple. They would have celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary December 20, 2014. Shortly after they were married they moved to Los Angeles, CA. Darrell started out working in the parts department of American Motors. This got him going in the automobile business. He and Saundra traveled and moved to various places. They ended up in Boulder CO, owning a Toyota Dealership with Larry H. Miller of Salt Lake City. After 10 years having the Dealership they sold it and retired. They tried the snow bird way of living six months in Boulder and six months in Sun City West, Arizona, they have become Arizona residents full time. Darrell was an avid reader he loved to travel and play golf he played many courses during his travels. Darrell enjoyed volunteering with the Humane Society and was instrumental in getting funds for a new shelter in Boulder CO it was a great success. Darrell is survived by his wife Saundra, one son Tony (Julie Wells) Twin Falls Idaho. He was blessed with three grandsons and two great grandchildren, two brothers, Roger (Karen Rees) Wells, Dean (Carolyn) Wells both of Willard, and a brother-in-law Myron Stevenson of Marriott Slaterville and a special friend Becky Stiles from Denver CO. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Deola Stevenson and Dorothy Archibald. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you may donate to a foundation of your choice.
