David Jay Sparks

OGDENa"David Jay Sparks, beloved son, brother, and uncle, left this earthly life on July 31, 2002 in Desert Palm Springs, California. He was born May 7, 1956 in Ogden, Utah, to James W. and Beverly P. (Coy) Sparks.

David attended school at Mound Fort Junior High and Weber High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1974 and after Boot Camp at Fort Ord. Following Boot Camp, he was stationed in Germany for the next two years. After his enlistment in the Army, he worked in the oil fields in Evanston, Wyoming. Later he moved to Palm Springs, California where he worked in construction.

David lived life to its fullest. He loved his brothers and sister and was very much loved in return.

David is survived by his parents of Ogden, one sister, Debbie Lee (Leon) Hadley of Grantsville, and one brother, Timothy Jon Sparks of Ogden.

David was preceded in death by one brother, James W. Sparks, Jr., and one sister, Tina Marie Sparks Keopple.
