BRIGHAM CITY/LOGAN - Dayna Mitsuko Stark, 34, of Logan, Utah passed away peacefully January 22, 2015 at home following a brief illness while surrounded by her precious fur babies.
Dayna was born July 28, 1980 in Brigham City, Utah and graduated from Box Elder High School. Following graduation, she moved to Logan, where she met the love of her life, David Kinsey. She worked various places in Logan, where she met many lifelong friends.
Dayna was the life of every gathering and when she entered a room, everyone noticed. She had the kindest heart and she loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She loved being with her beloved David and listening to him play his music. Dayna loved her family and friends dearly. She was a genius prankster so you always had to be on your toes.
Dayna is survived by her love, David Kinsey of Logan, her parents: Bonnie Yamasaki and Larry Shires of Tremonton; Jack and Elaine Stark of Brigham City; sisters: Shauni Stark (Dave Hiland) of Tremonton; Sheree (Robert) Morgan of Brigham City; Brenda (Sean) Mangold of Herriman; and grandma Helen Yamasaki of West Corinne. She is also survived by the other loves of her life, her nieces and nephew: Sydni, Hailey, Taira, Kadence, Ashly, Marlee and Skyler; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dayna was an organ donor and was able to donate her corneas.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Honeyville Buddhist Temple, 3945 W. 6900 N., Honeyville, UT.
A viewing will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and Thursday from 1-1:45 pm at the Temple. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Myers Mortuary to help offset funeral expenses. "We love you to the moon and back, sister!"
