Dee Blaine Thompson Obituary (2007)

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed on November 7, 2007. We knew him best for his witty humor and his passion for the Gospel, his family, writing, music, aviation, muscle cars, softball and BYU football. He was born November 1st, 1951 in Tremonton, Utah to William Blaine and Geniel Brough Thompson. He is survived by his wife Cindy Young Thompson and his children Jared (Teresa) Thompson, Angela Daniels, Coy Thompson, and Shawn Thompson. The children he loved as his own are Shiloh (Joe) Johnson, Jacob Owens, and Jacey Young. He was an adoring grandfather who left behind three beautiful grandchildren, Peyton, Logan, and Tyree. He is also survived by his sisters Barbara (Richard) Todd, Cheryl Jenson, and Marlene Hart. We will always remember you. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Kaysville 17th Ward Chapel, 875 East 200 North. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Garland City Cemetery. Services under the direction of Myers Mortuary of Layton.
