Della Goodwin Ghan April 29, 1925 - April 6, 2015 WEST HAVEN - Della Goodwin Ghan, 89, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Peachtree Place Assisted Living. She was born April 29, 1925 in Buhl, Idaho to Frank Clifford and Julia Leona Ellis Goodwin. She was raised in Castleford, ID. She married Dale Weaver Ghan on September 1, 1944 in Hopkinsville, KY. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They resided in Twin Falls and Jerome, ID most of their lives. They moved to Roy, Utah in 2007. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many callings. Surviving are her husband of seventy years, Dale Ghan, children, Mike (JoAnn) Ghan, Steven Ghan, Alyce (Rick) Staples, George (Johnine) Ghan, 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a brother Von Goodwin. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held Saturday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
