Delless Lanona Fredrickson Bloom

OGDENa"Delless Lanona Fredrickson Bloom, 89, passed away January 4, 2002, at her residence after a long illness.

She was born May 1, 1912 in Gunnison, Utah, to Christian and Mary Jensen Fredrickson. She married Harry Bloom and he later died.

She had a life of service and during WWII she volunteered with the Red Cross at Bushnell Hospital. She was active in Brigham City Community Club and business and professional women's groups.

She was a devoted mother and, after her husband's death, ran L. Bloom and Sons, the family business for many years. After which, she devoted her time to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her husband and a son, Samuel J. Bloom.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Thyberg of Ogden, and three grandchildren, Lisa, Jen, Michaela.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2002, at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 South First East in Brigham City, Utah. Friends and family may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be Brigham City Cemetery.
