Delmar (Del) Richins Obituary (1940 - 2015)

DelMar (Del) Richins DelMar (Del) Richins died March27, 2015 in Ogden. He was born June 29, 1940 to Clifton B. and Clara Jaques Richins in Devil's Slide, Utah. "I am survived by the love of my life, Pat Richins and my family by marriage, Daughters, Robin Elmy (Gil), Jennifer Maginn (Bill), Kim Mickelson (Dale); son, Bob Tippin and their children and grandchildren. Through the years they have given me so many wonderful memories and fun times. I especially loved watching two of my grandsons (Trent Butler and Garrett Elmy) here in Utah as they grew up and excelled at sports as well as academics at Layton Christian Academy. I have been equally blessed because the land that LCA sits on was my Grandfather Jaques farm and the place where my mother was raised. The entire family blessed me so very much. I could never thank them enough for giving me the family that I always wanted. I am also survived by a step-sister, Ann Dickamore (Earl) and two brothers, Alan Richins and Brent Richins (Janet) and sister, Hope Sage (Ted). I was preceded in death by my parents and my biological son, Mark as well as my brother, Clark. I served in the U.S. Air Force and retired as an electrician from the railroad. I have had a good life, survived and learned from my mistakes, tried to treat everyone as an equal and cared for those in need. I have had a blessed life."
