Delores Jordan

Delores Jordan entered into the glorious presence of God on December 22, 2015. She was born June 6, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Lida Milano.

She attended Jacksonville School for the Blind, where she met and married the love of her life, Tunney S. Jordan.

Delores had such a sweet, happy spirit and a zest for life, living to the fullest. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, making pot holders, blankets, scarfs, and hats for those she loved. She loved music and played the accordion and keyboard.

Delores is survived by her children, Tunney R. Jordan (Gloria), Celeste Langford, Kevin Jordan (Leslie), Delores Bitton (Curt), David Jordan (Tanya), 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tunney S. Jordan; brother, David Milano; daughter-in-law, Lita Jordan and son-in-law, Mike Langford.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, 495 N. Harrison Blvd., Ogden. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden and at the church one hour prior to services Wednesday.

Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park.
