Derrek Ross Mcgee

BRIGHAM CITY - Derek Ross McGee, 24, returned home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 29, 2007, in a car accident in Sardine Canyon.
Derek was born in Logan, Utah on October 12, 1982 a son of James Lloyd and Carla Archibald McGee.
Derek graduated from Box Elder High School in 2001.
He served a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Everett Washington, from 2002- 2004.
Derek spent many hours volunteering with the Sunrise Program at Box Elder Middle School.
Derek was working his way through school at Weber State and USU as a manager at McDonald's restaurant in Brigham City. He recently accepted a new job at Converges in Logan.
Surviving are his parents; Jim and Carla, Brigham City; siblings; Joshua (Catherine) McGee, Adam (Betsy) McGee, Brittany McGee, special friend, Brittany Pickett,
grandparents; Lloyd Ross & Marna McGee, Ruel & Rayola Nielsen, Carrie Archibald, foster sister; Natasha Jolley, adopted- sister; Margaret Holladay; and nephew Benjamin McGee.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 3, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the Brigham City 19th Ward, 105 West Fishburn Dr., Brigham City, Utah.
Friends may call on Monday, April 2, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. both at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
