Devon Clare Morse Obituary (1933 - 2015)

DeVon C. (Bob) Morse September 24, 1933 - December, 20, 2015 Plain City, Utah - DeVon was born in Tremonton, Utah on September 24, 1933 to Evan C. and Nellie Clara Morse. He married his eternal companion, Marva Lee Ward, on August 22, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on May 18, 1955. He worked in Ogden as a barber in his own shop for many years. He later opened his own insurance agency which he ran until his retirement in 1997. DeVon honorably served in various callings within the LDS church, diligently and humbly. His family, although saddened to be parted from him, is happy and elated that he is once again reunited with his eternal companion who preceded him in death on August 30, 2012. He leaves behind six children: Michael (Georgia), Steven (Dawn), David (Joan), Dee (Kim), Janean (Roy) and Nathan (Nina). His posterity also includes 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the West Weber 1st Ward Chapel, 4100 West 900 South. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd and from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. prior to services at the church. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
