Diane J. Hall

Diane J. Hall passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008 at her home in Mantua, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 8, 1928 to Luella Nelson and Ray G. Jeppsen in Mantua, Utah. She grew up in Mantua and graduated from Box Elder High School.
Diane married Leon L. Hall on March 12, 1948 in the Logan Utah Temple. They lived for nine years in various locations in California. After Leon's death, Diane returned to Mantua and graduated with a master's degree in art from Utah State University.
Diane married Dan C. Perry in March of 1982. He passed away a few years later.
Diane served in various positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including ward and stake Relief Society President. She also served in the Primary, Sunday School and Young Women's organizations. She served a full time mission in the Arizona Phoenix Mission.
She taught art at Box Elder High School for over 25 years, served on the Mantua Town Council, volunteered at the Brigham City Hospital and taught community art classes. She enjoyed rock collecting, reading, walking, yoga, healthful eating, and traveling. Most of all Diane loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children: Randall (Lloya) Hall, Orem, UT; Valerie (Marc) Ellsworth, Chandler, AZ; Rebecca (Russel) Hirst, Knoxville, TN; Bradford (Delpha) Hall, Wellsville, UT; her sisters: Joyce (Scott) Lee, St. George, UT; Linda (Fred) Blaser, Rexburg, ID, sister-in-law Barbara Jeppsen, Bountiful, UT.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ray O'Brien Jeppsen.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Mantua 1st Ward, 237 S. Willard Peak, Mantua.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East Brigham City, and on Wednesday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church.
