Don B. Hartley Obituary (1920 - 2003)

LAYTON - Don B. Hartley, 83, passed away Monday, August 11, 2003 at a local hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 28, 1920 to Alice Bambrough and Judson Hartley in Clinton, UT. Don married Shirley Larsen Hartley, 62 years ago on July 30, 1941 in the LDS Logan Temple. He served in the Army during World War II and the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the LDS Church and of the American Legion #134 of Clearfield. He enjoyed the out of doors, fishing, hunting and camping with his family. Don is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, Blaine (Paulene) Hartley; and two daughters, Jan Hartley Tidwell and Pattie Hartley (Carlin) Maw. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Trent, Tammy, Tiffany, Jill, Ryan, Jerod, Cory, Cassy and Jenny; 19 great grandchildren and a loving sister LaRue Hartley (Darrel) King.
