Donna Fae Sparrow Pingree

ROY - Donna Fae Sparrow Pingree, age 88, peacefully returned to her heavenly home on August 16, 2013, surrounded by loving family. Born July 31, 1925, to George Edward and Lovina Annie Sparrow in Ogden, Utah, youngest of 7 children, she grew up on Wilson Lane. She married Carl Lionel Pingree on August 11, 1944, in the Logan Temple. They are the parents of three daughters, Carlene (Richard) Wagner, Dianne (Bill) Hoellein, and Denise (Kevin) Johnson.

She loved spending time with her family and always had a hug and a joke to share. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, gardening and eating out with friends. As a member of the Roy 4th Ward, she served faithfully in many positions and cherished the friendships made.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. Friends may meet with family on Sunday, August 18, 2013, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services.

Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.

Donna was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. A special thanks to her friends at Legacy Village in Layton for their special care.
