Donny (Don) James Gunn Obituary (1969 - 2010)

Donny (Don) James Gunn RIVERDALE - Donny (Don) James Gunn passed away June 10th, 2010 at the age of 41. He was born on April 1st, 1969 in Ogden, Utah to Sigfrid Robert Uebelgunne and Mary Jean Lefgren Moody. He is survived by his mother, his sister Trea (Jeff) Peterson, his ex-wife Heather Greenfield, his step-daughter Sydney Greenfield and his second family, Jay and Eleanor Rennemeyer. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1987, earned a certificate in drafting and eventually earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. Donny tried to live his life simply. He had no need for the latest gadgets or bigger and better 'stuff" - he never even owned a cell phone. He also kept his house unbelievably tidy. Donny loved 80's heavy metal and played guitar every day. He wrote poetry, created artwork in a variety of mediums and enjoyed anything involving the outdoors. He was always trying out new sports and hobbies. Donny's greatest love was reserved for his step-daughter Sydney. It was the love of a true Father. He was a good and decent man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Donny's ashes will be scattered over all the places he was the most happy.
