Dora Mae Birch

OGDEN--Dora Mae Birch, 74, died Monday, July 30, 2001 at McKay Dee Hospital.

She was born January 18, 1927 in Plain City, Utah, a daughter of Hyrum Parley and Daisy L. Coy Hogge. Dora married Keith Birch on October 29, 1948 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple in 1964.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

Dora had worked for America Food Stores, May Fair, Kmart Foods and eventually retired from Smith's. She enjoyed socializing with her former co-workers in the grocery business.

She loved to crochet, giving her special afghans and dishcloths to her friends. Dora loved to watch the Jazz play.

She is survived by her husband, Keith, one daughter, LuAnn Birch of St. Joseph, MO, one son, Brent K. Birch of Ogden, UT, two grandchildren, Jason Benny and Dustin Benny, one great-grandson, Dylan Benny.

She was preceded in death by her parents Parley and Daisy, a brother Ernest, and two sisters, Gladys and Thelma.
