Drucilla Murphy Taylor Felt Obituary (1921 - 2015)

Drucilla Murphy Taylor Felt April 5, 1921 - June 18, 2015 Drucilla Murphy Taylor Felt passed away June 18, 2015. She was born April 5, 1921 in Upalco, Utah to Edwin L. Murphy and Lavina Moon. She married Wm. Wayne Taylor, they later divorced. She then married Robert Felt, they also later divorced. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked at Defense Depot, in Ogden, and retired in 1986. Drucilla's hobbies included making quilts, growing flowers, playing cards and reading. She volunteered at the Roy Hillside Senior Center for almost 30 years, and she considered all her friends there her 2nd family. She received the "Governor's Point of Light" award for her volunteer work. She was chosen "Senior Queen" of Weber County. Her biggest joy was her family. Drucilla is survived by her children, Gary & (Donna) Taylor, Ed & (Karre) Taylor, Bert Taylor, Lisa Taylor; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; four nieces, and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and a granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m., prior to services. Interment in the Roy City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roy Senior Center.
