Edilberto Castillo Obituary (1952 - 2023)

Edilberto Castillo passed away July 1, 2023 in Clearfield, Utah. He was born on February 24, 1952 in Ilocos Norte Philippines to Abnir Eladio and Modesta Pasion Castillo. He honorably served in the US Air Force. He married Nelda Aquino on September 26, 1981 in Denver, Colorado. They were blessed with five children. Edilberto enjoyed volunteering at events, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Nelda; daughter, Eden Rose; sons, Eladio, Nelbert, Christopher, and Evan; grandchildren Angela, Beatrice, Akino Sebastian, Oriana, Ilona Julia and Alma; daughter in-laws: Karen, Megan and Joanna; siblings, Antonia Castillo, Soledad Vea, Patrocinia Agasid, Primo Castillo and Constantino Tubera. He is preceded in death by Maria Bulong, Felix Castillo, Cleto Castillo. Family and friends may gather Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 5-6 p.m. A eulogy will be held from 6-7 p.m. A Vigil will be held 7-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
