Edmonia Pryor Obituary (1918 - 2002)

Celebration for Mrs. Edmonia Pryor "Home-Going" Sister Edmonia Pryor, age 84, went home November 27, 2002 to her Heavenly Father to rest in peace. She was born in Grenada, Mississippi to Mr. & Mrs. John Henry Williams, June 7, 1918. She left her hometown and moved to Berkeley, California where she enjoyed reading the Bible daily and speaking the Word with her friends until she moved to Layton, Utah in 1996, where she resided with her daughter. Sister Pryor was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on June 19, 1983. She served many callings and was very active in her faith. Two daughters, Ethel Pryor-Powell (James Powell) Layton, UT; Letha Prior-Yates (Willie James Yates) Calhoun City, MS; two sons, Joe Henry Pryor, Chicago IL and Jim Henry Pryor, Oakland, CA and seven siblings, ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and nine great, great grandchildren survive Sister Pryor.
