Edna was born January 8, 1910 on a ranch near Maxwell, Nebraska, the daughter of Daniel Franklin and Martha Hankins Dameron. Mom always retained her Nebraska roots, living a conservative, steadfast, Christian life.

On July 3, 1948, she married Eugene Erwin in Evanston, WY. They were married for 26 years before he preceded her in death on August 11, 1974. Edna moved to the Ogden area during the World War II era, and was employed at the Naval Depot during the war. She also worked at the Defense Depot Ogden, and was later employed at Hill Air Force Base retiring from there in 1975. After her retirement, she volunteered at the Hillside Senior Citizens Center in Roy for 10 years.

Mom's interests and hobbies included listening to country music, reading, fishing, camping and gardening. In her later years, she was an avid fan of the Animal Planet channel, the JAZZ and televised baseball games. One of her favorite camp spots was Lily Lake Campground in the Uintahs.

She is survived by two daughters, Mildred M. Reed of San Diego, CA; Linda J. Kellett of Hayward, CA; and her son Frank L. (Jane) Erwin of Hooper. Two daughters, Alice V. Borgeson and Eve L. Shockley preceded her in death. Mom has a large loving family including 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The values that guided her life will continue in their generations.
