Edna Bryson Parker

OGDEN - Edna Bryson Parker, 77, passed away December 26, 2004 at McKay-Dee Hospital after a lingering illness.

She was born May 26, 1927 in Bountiful, Utah, a daughter of Samuel A. and Mabel Holbrook Bryson.

Edna was raised in Bountiful and graduated from Davis High School.

On July 17, 1946 she married Wayne H. Moss in Logan. They were later divorced. Edna married Rao K. Parker on April 10, 1974 in Ogden.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Lorin Farr 4th Ward. She served in many callings including, Primary and Young Women's.

Edna enjoyed traveling and visiting her children and grandchildren. She and Rao particularly loved the canyons of Southern Utah and the coast of California.

She is survived by her husband, three children, Sherida M. (John) Layton, Kaysville; Christie M. Pittman, Stockton, CA and Clint W. Moss, Ogden. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three brothers; Glenn H. Bryson, Bountiful; George A. Bryson, Coalville and Melvin R. Bryson, Bountiful.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents and two sisters, Ruth Gibbons and Alice Peterson.
