Edna Rose Wild

Brigham City - Edna Rose Wantuk Monteza Wild, age 74, passed away at her daughter's home on Friday, December 14, 2007 after a long battle with pulmonary hypertension.

Born January 20, 1933 to Joseph Wantuk and Ana Araujo in Canal Zone, Panama. Married Alvaro Monteza August 25, 1951 and later divorced. Married Walter Wild November 1, 1997.

Edna was full of laughter and fun and loved spending time with her daughters. She made friends easily and enjoyed doing crafts at the Senior Center in Brigham City where she lived. She was a member of the LDS church and served in many callings. She was a wonderful Granny that always kept in touch with all the grandkids via emails and always had lots of good advice. Edna even kept in touch with her grammar school friends and loved telling stories of her childhood in the Canal Zone during WWII.

Edna is survived by her husband, Walter Wild, her daughters, Eileen, Alix, Jeannette, Yvonne, Josie, and Annabelle, 16 grandkids, and 5 greatgrandkids.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the Mountain View Ward, 105 W. Fishburn Drive, Brigham City.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E. and Tuesday from 12:00 to 12:40 pm service at the church.
Interment in Brigham City Cemetery.
