SOUTH OGDEN - Edward John Erickson, 66, quietly passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006 after a long and difficult struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born October 18, 1939 in Brigham City, UT the son of Edward Clyde Erickson and Ruby Bate Erickson.

On December 21, 1960 he married Dorothy Corinne Lewis in the Salt Lake Temple. This union was blessed with six wonderful children.

He graduated from Weber High School and Weber State University with a degree in Mathematics and worked for 32 years as a civil servant at Hill Air Force Base.

Ed loved to go hunting and camping, to read Louis L'Amour westerns and to work on old cars. He also was a movie buff. His greatest love was his family and the gospel.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy; children Jolette (Erick) Franco, JeRee Quintrequeo, Kelly (Danny) Miller, Kristine (David) Odekirk, Robert (Stacey) Erickson, Scott (Karen) Erickson; 21 grandchildren; brothers Michael (JoAnn) Erickson, James (Debby) Erickson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Bret; a son-in-law Tony and one granddaughter.
