Edward Mitchell

Edward G. Mitchell, known affectionately by many as Ed, passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on August 2, 1960, in Ogden, Utah, he was a lifelong resident of the area, a loving father, a thoughtful brother, and a compassionate friend. In his life, he was a man of many talents and passions, including woodworking, cooking and riding his motorcycle. He was the heart of his family and friends, always there for anyone who needed him, though it might have just taken him a few hours to get there.

Edward, held his family and friends close to his heart. It was said that he was supportive to the point of selflessness, always willing to lend a helping hand. His love for his children and grandchildren was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his daughters: Lacey (Brandt) and Cassidy, his brother Gordon, his sister Debra, his granddaughters Mikenna and Neveah, and his great-granddaughter Elliana. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Loal Mitchell, his brother Timothy, and his grandson Jamie.

Graveside services for Edward will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm MDT at the Ogden City Cemetery at 1875 Monroe Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, 84401.
