Elaine Hepworth Brakefield Obituary (1921 - 2009)

Elaine Hepworth Brakefield OGDEN - Elaine Brakefield, 87, died June 19, 2009, in Ogden. She was born November 25, 1921 in Hooper, Utah the daughter of James Holden and Ivie Elizabeth Maw Hepworth. She graduated from Ogden High School. Elaine married Robert Brakefield in Ogden, in 1951. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She liked to read, collect stamps and Christmas ornaments. Elaine is survived by her five sons Thomas Brakefield, Daniel (Sharrol) Brakefield, John Brakefield, Stephen Brakefield and Mark Brakefield; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Albert and Carl Hepworth. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Andrew and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden where friends may call prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
