Eldon Cleve Meyerhoffer

MARRIOTT - SLATERVILLE - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Eldon C. Meyerhoffer, 63, passed away February 3, 2009.

He was born February 1, 1946, in Ogden, Utah a son of Cleve A. Meyerhoffer and Barbara Rich. He graduated from Weber High School and Weber State. He served his country in the US Army.

Eldon was married to Cathy Gilbert, they were later divorced. He married his sweetheart, Linda Lee Webb on June 22, 1979.

He was a High Priest in the LDS Marriott-Slaterville 2nd Ward, where he served as the Asst. Finance Clerk.

Eldon was active in his community serving as President of the North Slaterville Irrigation and he loved helping his family, friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; one son, Kenneth (Melissa) Meyerhoffer, West Jordan, UT; four daughters, Michelle (Todd) Field, Farr West, UT; Pam (Paul) Pacha, Dewitt, Iowa; Teresa Christopher, Marriott-Slaterville, UT, and Debbie (Patrick) Gendron, Mesquite, NV. Eight grandchildren, Colby, Adam, Braxton, Capri, Isaac, McKenna, Courtney and Burkelle. He is also survived by his step-mother, Myrna Meyerhoffer; one brother, Melvin (Joan) Meyerhoffer and one sister, Cleora Oliver; two step-brothers, John Panter; Barry (Lisa) Panter; one step-sister, Jan (Gene) Sase.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Marriott - Slaterville 2nd Ward, 250 N. 1500 W. at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call on Friday the 6th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ogden Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. and again on Saturday for 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be in the Washington Heights Memorial Park.
