Eli Russell Cutler Obituary (1980 - 2003)

ELI RUSSELL CUTLER UINTAH - Our sweet, tender-hearted son, brother, grandson, father, uncle, nephew, and friend passed away on November 17, 2003. Eli was born on November 7, 1980 to Gordon Sharp and Robyn Marie Storey Cutler. Eli was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a priest in the Aaronic priesthood and enjoyed scouting. Randy Roper and Corey Buckway were two of his precious leaders, along with his bishop Dallas Buckway, Jr. Eli was a very intelligent boy who loved to read. He attended Club Heights Elementary, South Jr. High and Bonneville High School. He had many wonderful teachers who loved and taught him. He loved playing little league football and on into Jr. High and High School. He enjoyed riding bikes, learning to ride a two-wheel bicycle at 3 years old. He enjoyed snowboarding, hiking and fishing. Eli loved nature and animals. He loved Cookie and Ziggy. Eli was very concerned about others. He performed many Christ-like acts of kindness in his life. He loved his family most of all. Eli has a special bond with his "Ma" as he called her. Eli held a very special place in his heart for his sweet daughter Aspen and he appreciates what a good mom Sheri is to Aspen. Eli loved the Lord. He knew his own weaknesses, and he will continue building his testimony. Eli, we love and will miss you. Listen and learn as we will. Eli is survived by his parents, brothers Matthew and Blake (Stephanie) Cutler, a sister Jennifer, daughter Aspen, grandparents Keith and Shirley Storey, nieces Brynlee and Courtney, nephew Dustin, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Eli was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fern and Mack Cutler and his uncle Jim.
