Eli Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Eli, who left us too soon.
Eli David Smith, was born in Richland, Washington, to Boyd Eli Smith and Lorraine Bingham. He attended Corinne Elementary, Box Elder Junior High, and Box Elder High School. He was a proud member of the National FFA Association and held the office of the President of the Box Elder High School Chapter. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in business and Master of Business Administration. He married and later divorced Sarah Porter.
Eli was a cherished member of our family, known for his deep love and dedication to those around him. He brought joy to every family gathering with his sweet sense of humor and kind words. His presence in our lives will be profoundly missed.
Eli had a special bond with his dogs, Duchess, Italy, and Hou, who were his loyal companions and sources of joy. He also had a passion for everything Batman, embracing the hero's spirit and strength in his own life. While working at the family dairy as a youth, he developed a talent for "cow-skiing" and was among the best in the family.
He is survived by his loving step-father, Roy Andreasen, and his six brothers: Thayne (Krista) Smith, Clifton (Susan) Smith, Phillip (Tori) Smith, Spencer (Karyn) Smith, Benjamin Smith, Jens (Megan) Andreasen, 15 nieces and nephews, and 3 grand-nephews. Each of them holds treasured memories of Eli, whose caring and generous nature touched all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He loved his mother fiercely and was her protector.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Eli is now at peace. His memory will live on in the love and laughter he shared with his family and friends.
A service will be held for close family and friends to honor and celebrate Eli's life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Interment will follow in the Corinne Cemetery.
