Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Ellen May Talbot Bybee, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2014. She was born on September 8, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Daniel and Loretta Maxfield Talbot. She married Edward Dee Searle on January 30, 1951. They later divorced. She married Roy Gerald Button on July 8, 1971. They later divorced. Ellen married her sweetheart, Raymon Alma Bybee on October 24, 1975 in the Oakland Temple. They enjoyed 39 wonderful years together.
Ellen belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully served as Primary President, Singles Group Presidency, Relief Society Presidency, Chorister, and a member of the choir. She served a family history mission in The Joseph Smith Memorial Building and at the Ogden Family History Center.

She enjoyed genealogy, family history and camping. She belonged to the Toastmaster International. Her main passion was her family.

She is survived by her husband, Raymon; children, Michael (Paula) Searle, Patricia (Ken) Messing, Steven (Nannette) Searle, and Toni (Rick) Findlay; step-children, Ronald Bybee, Kathy Bybee, Lisa Smith and David Bybee; 28 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, David Talbot; and sisters Loretta Jean Shupe and Rose Vilate Ostrap.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Daniel Bedeque Talbot and son, Robert Daniel Searle.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to services from 11:40 to 12:40 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be at the Evergreen Memorial Park.
