Elliott Rashae Dewitt Harper

In the early morning hours of March 19, 2004 our Sovereign God recalled our angel to play at his feet. Elliott Rashae Dewitt Harper was the first portion of a double blessing born October 29, 2003, to Elliott Rashad Harper and Claywanda Joy Norwood.

Elliott was such a high-spirited baby, always in a happy and playful mood. He had a smile that was distinctly his own with the added skill of raising his eyebrows for expression. In such a short time he developed many favorite things: the soothing sounds of music, watching 'Teletubbies' and 'Power Puff Girls' with his big sister Sharmice, he especially loved sucking on his daddy's bottom lip.

He leaves to celebrate his life everlasting, his parents; grandparents: Joy Robinson, Ogden; Clayton Norwood Sr. (Valentina Murphy), Ogden; Willie L. Harper, SLC; siblings: big sister Sharmice Arveal Sta'ja Harper; and twin brother Elijah Rashad Dewitt Harper; great-great aunt: Eliza (James) Hill, Ogden; great aunts: Norma Lee High, Ontario, CA; Marjorie Knighton, Inglewood, CA; Allie (Robert) Richardson, Victorville, CA; Arneal (Jackelyn) Gaskins, Ogden; Johnnie Mae Davis, Roy; Angie Calvin and Cherrie Calvin, both of SLC; Clarresha Armae (Cory Spruill) Norwood, Ogden; Monique (Al) Cottrell-Walton, Layton; Aikyra Norwood, Ogden; Angie Calvin, Gayvilla D. Mitchell, Cassandra (John) Pace, and Erica Calvin, all of SLC; great uncles: Edwin Houser and Ed Houser, both of SLC; Dewitt Robinson, Jr., Ogden; uncles: Clayton Norwood Jr., Ogden; Silis Harper and Antwon Moye, both of SLC; as well as an abundance of cousins far and wide.

Elliott was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Columbus and May Norwood, Dewitt, Sr. and Arveal Robinson, John and Gayvilla Calvin; grandmother, Josephine Calvin; great aunt's, Elise Bush Underwood and Linda Calvin; cousins: Chett O'Neil Harris, Christa O. Crawley, Chariece A. Crawley, Kamani Boyce, Dominique Cottrell Walton, Stacia Thomas and Baby Merryweather.
