Emery Grant Buhler Obituary (1910 - 2003)

EMERY GRANT BUHLER ROY -- Emery Grant Buhler, age 93, passed away Monday, December 29, 2003 at his home in Roy, Utah. Emery was born in Midway, Utah, March 27, 1910 the 10th child of Gottlieb and Louisa Krebs Buhler. He married his sweetheart, Lynile Elizabeth Ash 70 years ago in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 14, 1933. Emery is survived by his wife and four children and their spousesa"LeRoy and Alice Buhler, Layton, Utah; Lyle and Dian Buhler, Caldwell, Idaho; Joyce and Carl Hamblin, Roy, Utah; and Gene and Marie Buhler, Chicago, Illinois; 28 grandchildren, 85.5 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. He served in the Northern States LDS Mission 1928-1929 and five Stake missions, one with his wife; he served for 12 years in the LDS Ogden Temple. He served as the Stake Mission President twice, two ward Bishoprics and numerous other Stake and Ward positions.
