Emily Ann Watkins

Emily Ann Watkins, of Willard, UT, passed away on February 10, 2017. She was born on October 18, 1934 to Frederich and Ena Elizabeth Delaney Herbst in Rockaway Beach, New York. She worked as a bookkeeper for Chase Manhattan Bank and later an office manager for her husband's dental office in Arizona and in Utah.
She loved to dance with the North Ogden Senior Center ladies, but the most important thing to her was her family. Emily was an active member of the Catholic Church and was active in Prayer group.
Emily is survived by her children; John J. Cox, Kathleen M. Bennion, Patti (Robert) DeFries, Chris (Mike) Godinez, Carol (Pat)Watkins, Debbie Hines, and Bruce Watkins; many grand and great-grandchildren; her brother, Lawrence Herbst Sr., and her sister, Viola Herbst. She is preceded in death by her husbands; Eugene M. Cox and Dr. Wilford O. Watkins, and her special sister, Idella.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church, 495 N Harrison Blvd, Ogden. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:15 to 10:55 a.m.
