Emma Wixom

Emma Jean Wixom, 85, passed away August 5, 2024, at her home in Brigham City, Utah. She was born August 21, 1938, in Bexar County, Texas and grew up in Lytle Texas. She was born to Jodie and Georgia Essary who preceded her in death. Emma married Ray F. Wixom on September 17, 1956. He preceded her in death. She loved to travel and had been all over the world from Venice to Croatia to Holland. She was an avid reader, crossword solver, seamstress/quilter and loved to gamble.
She is survived by her two daughters and two sons Karen Wixom (J Michael Parsons) and Shawna Korthuis (Kevin Korthuis); sons Rodney Wixom and Ray (Frank) Wixom Jr.; 3 grandchildren; Shaune Parsons (Jill), Nicole Korthuis Buhler (Zack), Christopher Korthuis; and 5 great grandchildren; Natausha Parsons, Melissa Parsons, Ember, Everly & August Buhler.
A Memorial Celebration of her life is planned for Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary 205 South 100 East Brigham City, UT. A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery. Emma was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.
