BRIGHAM CITY - Enid Karleen Colemere Bywater, age 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18, 2012.
Karleen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 26, 1940 to Burgess and Enid Colemere. She was married to Gary Bywater for 46 years. Karleen taught dance in her studio in Brigham City for many years and later in life danced with the Senior Tappers so she could continue to enjoy her passion for dance. She was a loving mother to her children. She loved her family and especially enjoyed celebrating the holidays with them. Karleen will be remembered for her vibrant personality and pleasant disposition. Her laughter was exuberant and often filled the room with joy. Karleen truly exemplified the title of "Grandma" and was an enthusiastic supporter of her children and grandchildren. Karleen served in many capacities as a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved attending the temple.
Karleen is survived by her children: Sheri (Neal) Topham, Philadelphia; Kaylynn (Kendall) Nelson, SLC; Amy (Darren) Nelson, SLC; and Paul Bywater, Brigham City; 15 grandchildren; and siblings: Annette Dixon, Thomas Colemere, Susan Blaine, and Linda Steele.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest son, Michael Bywater.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham City 3rd Ward LDS Chapel located at 203 West 200 North, Brigham City, Utah. Friends and family members are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, Utah and Wednesday from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. at the church.
Interment will immediately follow the funeral services at the Brigham City Cemetery.
