ERMA GLADYS BINGHAM

SOUTH OGDEN - Erma Gladys Bingham, 91, passed away Monday, September 29, 2003 at Manor Care in South Ogden.

She was born March 30, 1912 in Hooper, Utah, the daughter of Thomas A. and Mary E. Hardy Ross.

She married John W. Staker on May 6, 1935 in Ogden, Utah. John passed away. She married William S. Bingham on November 26, 1957. William passed away.

Erma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a Sunday School Teacher.

Erma had worked at Hill Air Force Base during WWII, packing airplane parts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and raising flowers. She was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz. She lived all of her life in Ogden.

Surviving are her children: Lowell Ross Staker, and Clairene Mathews, both of Ogden; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Tree, six brothers and five sisters.
