Erma Marie Campbell

Born July 22, 1941 to R. DeMar and Erma Marie Nielson Choate. Died January 23, 2004 from complications of M.S. Her mother passed away shortly after her birth so she was raised by her grandparents, Cal and Nathalia Choate.

She graduated from Ben Lomond High where she had been a cheerleader. She attended Utah State University and received a degree in Business Education. She returned to Ben Lomond High to teach business and served as a cheerleader advisor.

On June 14, 1968 she married Melvin J. Campbell in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. They were blessed with two boys, Robert (Nikki) Campbell and Dennis (Aimee) Campbell, both of Ogden; four grandchildren, Brennan, Jarron, Meyghan and KayDrie.

Until she became disabled she was always active in the church, serving in many callings, mostly working with the young women.

She is survived by her husband and children and brothers, Dee, Dan and Kim Choate of Ogden and Lee Choate of St. George. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and stepmother, Merle Choate.
