Erma Larue Young Obituary (1914 - 2006)

Emma LaRue Smith Young IDAHO FALLS - Erma LaRue Smith Young, having lived 91 vivacious years, passed on peacefully July 14, 2006. She joined her parents, siblings, and two of her grandsons, Stephen Nyland and Dewey Young. She was born on November 14, 1914 in Gridley, California to Lysander Dayton Smith and Bertha Williams. Erma, a woman of many accomplishments, met her sweetheart William Clayton Young and they shared a Golden Anniversary together before he preceded her. Erma and Bill are parents of two children: Rita Nyland (Bob), Ogden, UT; William C. Young (Donna Brady), Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
