E. Robert Rauzi Click here to listen to Funeral Recording Our loving husband, father and grandfather; Ernest Robert "Bob" Rauzi passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013, surrounded by his family. Bob was born September 23, 1939 in Ogden, UT to Ernest and Melba Hansen Rauzi. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1957. Bob married his sweetheart, JoAnn Berg, on July 31, 1959 in the Logan Temple; they would have been married 54 years in July. He worked at Richardson's Market, the Bon Marche', Swifts, and Wolfe's Sporting Goods. He then owned and operated several Big O' Tire stores. He had many callings in the LDS church; he served in 2 bishoprics, was bishop of a young adult ward, a high councilor and an avid scout leader. He had a great love of scouting and has been a member of the BSA for 62 years. He was an eagle scout and received the Silver Beaver Award. He actively served in the Farr West Community, and was an active supporter of Weber State University. He loved trap shooting, hunting, fishing, archery, snowmobiling, boating and four wheeling. He loved raising horses and was a posse leader for 8 years. His favorite activity was spending time with his family. Family time was spent camping with family and friends, spending time in Island Park at the Cabin (which he and his father built), and traveling with his children and grandchildren to many special places. He leaves behind his loving wife (JoAnn) and children, Tammy Rauzi, Sandy (Brian) Wandling, Connie (Ken) Brown, Debbie (Daryl) Fojtek and Robbie (Shaylyn) Rauzi, and grandchildren Bryson, Kaleigh, Josh, Kaycee, Trevor, Keeley, Bransen, Kohler, and Hylend. Also surviving are his sisters Judy Combe, Eileen (Ron) Udink and Dianne Gibson. The family expresses sincere thanks to the many relatives, friends and caregivers who have supported them during this time. A viewing will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Farr West Poplar Stake Center, 1745 N. 2300 W. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30th at 11a.m. at the same location with a viewing prior from 9-10:30 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. In lieu of flowers please donate to the B.S.A. or the LDS missionary fund.
