Erwin Ray Dobson passed away at his home on July 22, 2017. He was born August 16, 1928 to John Milton Dobson and Maude Elizabeth Wheeler in Los Angeles California. Erwin married Lois Nadine Price on June 18, 1947 in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple and were married for 64 years.
Erwin was very proud of his work as a crew supervisor with Utah Power and Light. He retired after 35 years of service. Erwin loved camping and fishing. He enjoyed Dutch oven cooking and shared many of his tasty treats with neighbors and friends. He also spent his days woodworking. He was always available if anyone needed his help, and he will be greatly missed.
Erwin is survived by 2 daughters - Debra (Earl) Cossey of Liberty and Shelly Dobson of Ogden; 5 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; and 3 great- great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Lois, and two sons - Ted Erwin Dobson and Rod Owen Dobson.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe, Ogden.
