June Esther Sholty Obituary (1915 - 2005)

BRIGHAM CITY - Esther June Pella Sholty, 90, passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, September 20, 2005. She was born on June 6, 1915 in Brigham City a daughter of Esther and Hans Pella. June married Frank Wilson Sholty on June 21, 1940 in the Logan Temple. They shared 51 years of marriage together before Frank passed away in January 1992. June lived all her life in Brigham City. She was a member of the Brigham City Lakeview Ward and held many callings over the years including Primary Teacher, Primary Secretary and Sunday School Secretary. June and Frank served together as temple workers at the Ogden Temple for many years. She was also a founding member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member for more than 74 years. She will be best remembered as an avid animal lover. June is survived by her sisters-in-law, Pollyanna Kozak, Brigham City; her dear friend and sorority sister, Sandy McDougall, nieces, cousins and many loving friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Brigham City 10th Ward Chapel, 145 W. 500 S. Friends may call on Sunday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Monday from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
