TSgt Ethan Bradley Wilcox September 19, 1995 - April 24, 2024 Ethan Bradley Wilcox, our adventurous spirit, bid farewell to this world on 4/24/2024. Ethan's untimely departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, yet his indomitable spirit and love for life will forever be etched in our memories. Born in 1995 in Lubbock, Texas, Ethan was a true son of the wild, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. From the rugged terrains of Washington to the majestic landscapes of Utah, Ethan's soul found its home among nature's grandeur. His passion for the outdoors knew no bounds, as he ventured into the wilderness, seeking new experiences and forging unforgettable memories under the open sky. Ethan's adventurous spirit was matched only by his fearlessness, a trait that often led to daredevil tales of white-knuckle close calls. Whether scaling peaks or navigating trails, he approached every challenge with unwavering determination and an irrepressible enthusiasm that inspired all who accompanied him on his journeys. Among his greatest joys in life were his children, whom he adored with boundless affection and cherished as the true treasures of the world. Ethan's playful spirit and genuine warmth endeared him to his kids, and his presence brought laughter and light wherever he went. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of the lives he touched. Ethan was also passionate about music, teaching himself how to play the guitar, piano, harmonica, and most recently the banjo. Ethan loved to serenade anyone who would listen, especially his boys. Ethan attended Murray High School in Murray, Utah and graduated in 2014. He joined the Air Force shortly after graduation as an Electrical Environmental Systems Journeyman and was stationed at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Washington, where he went on to become section Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC). Ethan served deployments in Qatar, Turkey, and Afghanistan. ln 2023 Ethan became an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter and worked out of the Armed Forces Career Center in Missoula, Montana. Ethan proudly served and sacrificed much for our country. Ethan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bert and Kathy Wold and Charles R. Wilcox; father-in-law, Justin Shannon; uncle, Dan Helm; and aunt, Teresa Wilcox. Ethan is survived by his beloved sons, Forrest and Sawyer, who were the light of his life; and their mother, Regan Wilcox. He is also survived by his loving parents, Amber Livingston and Clint Wilcox; as well as his step-parents, LeeAnn Wilcox and Kris Livingston; who guided him with endless love throughout his life. Ethan's brother and sisters, Tyler, Marissa, Courtney (Jake), and Kayden (Jake), will remember his wry smile and irresistible sense of humor. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Michelle Nielsen and grandmothers, Gardenia K. Wilcox, Linda Bennion (Cal) and Suszy Thomason (Danny); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Though Ethan's earthly journey has come to an end, his spirit lives on in the wild places he loved, in the laughter of his children, and in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the vibrant life he lived and the countless lives he touched along the way. Ethan will be deeply missed but never forgotten, his memory a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness, reminding us to embrace each other and life's adventures with love, courage, passion, and an unwavering spirit of joy.
